How to invent rice recipes

It is excellent to cooking with rice. Not only is one of the cheaper ingredients that you can get, but also nutritious, it fills lot and versatile. You can serve rice as a garnish or add meat, poultry, or fish with vegetables, herbs and spices to make a rich and successful entry for the family.

You can use the recipe search engine to find classic, such as paella, pilaf or risotto rice recipes, or you can make your own. There’s something very satisfying envelope inventing their own recipes and, although it is fairly new in the kitchen, you’ll find creating easy recipes very simple rice.

 

What type of rice for use

 

First, you must select their rice. You might want to use rice, which has an earthy, slightly nutty flavor. White rice is always popular, and you can choose between long grain rice, medium or short.

Arborio rice or rice risotto is another option, such as basmati rice. If you want to make a meal of rice with curry, basmati can be a good idea, otherwise can get great results with white or brown rice.

Different types of rice take different amounts of time to cook. You can get quick cooking rice, which is prepared in eight minutes, or rice, which can take three times longer.

 

How to make a sauce

 

If you’re not sure about inventing your own recipe for rice, break the process in his mind in two steps. A step is cooking the rice and the other is to make the sauce. The sauce includes the fluid to be used, chopped vegetables and seasonings that you want to add.

While the rice is cooked, you can start the sauce. Please note that cooked rice kept warm in a pan covered for half an hour, so if the sauce takes longer to cook than rice is not problem.

Perhaps you want to cook the rice in natural water or dissolve a broth cube in water to give the rice taste extra. Throw in a pinch of turmeric, if you want to yellow rice.

Finely chop some vegetables and sauté them in oil in a frying pan. You can use peppers, mushrooms, onions, garlic, courgette, carrot, broccoli, or anything else you’d like. If you are using canned vegetables such as peas, corn, or canned, add them to the end because they only need to be warmed through.

When the vegetables are tender, you can do or add a sauce. Bought tomato sauce or pasta sauce is good, or you can use a few spoonfuls of pesto. If you want to make your own sauce, there are many options. What combination of heavy cream with grated cheese or tomato sauce with chopped Basil? If you want to use canned vegetables, leftover chicken, fish or meat, it is now time to stir the mixture.

Pour the sauce on the vegetables, then combine this mixture with boiled rice and try it. Add salt and pepper to taste and perhaps some bits of fruit, nuts, fresh herbs, dried herbs, chili powder or any other seasonings you want. Serve the dish of rice with extra grated cheese spray.
