Saffron rice recipe
Ingredients for the recipe of Saffron rice:
2 basmati rice cups Oz (400 g/13.)
25 g (1 oz.) of butter
3 bay leaves
1 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads
2 cups (500 ml/16 fl oz), boiling point of vegetable broth
Directions to the recipe of Saffron rice:
1 Wash the rice, then cover with cold water and stop for 30 minutes. Drain well.
2. Heat butter in a frying pan, add the Bay leaves and rice and cook, stirring, for 6-7 minutes, or until dry.
3 Soften the Saffron in 2 tablespoons of hot water for 5 minutes. Add the rice with broth and 1 1/2 cup (375 ml/12 fl oz) in boiling water. Bring to a boil, then cooked simmer, covered, 12-15 minutes, or until that absorbed all the water and rice.
