Two great Mexican rice recipes

Rice is a cereal popular recipes of authentic Mexican food and there are different ways to make Mexican dishes and dishes with it. Make sure you use a good quality or stock material to carry out the following recipes, because you can really taste the difference. In addition, make sure to cook the rice according to instructions. It should not be too hard or too soggy and you should have a light and fluffy texture.

 

Rice with spices and garlic

 

This is a very easy and perfect recipe for cooking nerds. You can simply add to the pot and leave to the mixture to simmer until everything is cooked to perfection. If performed as a garrison, it is useful to know that once it is ready, and be in the pot (do not lift the lid!) half an hour and will be fine.

 

As it is the case of similar recipes, this can serve at any temperature you like. Perhaps you like hot or perhaps prefer to room temperature or cold as a buffet meal. Either way it would be nice, but dishes like this should not be at room temperature for more than one couple of hours for food safety reasons.

 

What you need:

 

1 fresh chopped Jalapeño pepper 1 1/2 cups of chicken broth 1 cup long grain white rice 1/2 onion finely chopped 1/2 chopped green pepper 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 clove garlic, half 1/2 teaspoon cumin coriander chopped 1/2 cup 1 chopped tomato, of seeded 1 chicken stock cube Salt and pepper to taste

 

How to do it:

 

Sauté the rice in the oil for a few minutes in a large skillet and then pour the chicken broth. Bring the mixture to a boil. Stir in tomatoes, Jalapeño, onion and green pepper.

 

Season with garlic, coriander, cumin and broth cube. Test the mixture and add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil again and then reduce the heat. Boil the mixture for 20 minutes or until the flavours combine well and all the ingredients are tender.

 

Mexican rice baked with cheese

 

Using the oven means that you can have the top free stove for sauteing some chicken or pork or whatever will help with this recipe. The mixture of cheese, sour cream and Cheddar cheese in this recipe for Mexican food gives a result rich and creamy.

 

What you need:

 

1 cup chopped onion chicken broth 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons butter 4 cups cooked rice 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1 leaf of laurel large or 2 small 1 cup cottage cheese 2 cups sour cream 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese May 12 ounces green chilies, chopped, drained 1/2 teaspoon salt Cooking spray, as required

 

How to do it:

 

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees f the. saute the onion in the butter and chicken broth for 5 minutes. Take the pot the heat, and stirs the sour cream, bay leaf, rice, pepper and cheese, so everything blends well.

 

Spraying spray cooking in a large pan. Half of the rice in a dish and then a layer of cheese and green chiles of the layer. Repeat layers, ending with Cheddar cheese on top.

 

Bake for 25 minutes until everything is hot and bubbly cheese on top. Serve immediately with your favourite meat or fish, by removing the laurel when you see.
